What are you suppose to do?
-first: find a partner, a big bag and walk until you find a dahu.
-then walk carefully behind it.
-when you are 5 meters behind it, whistle! The Dahu is very curious…
-So it will turn over! but if it turns over, it falls (due to its short legs)!! Your partner has just to open the bag and then the dahu will fall into it !!
-You may become a really good hunter if you want !!

According to locals, there are still two species of Dahu which are still alive:
-the levogyre Dahu.
-the dextrogyre Dahu.

Big question: Can two Dahus mate?
If they are from the same species, ok, there is no problem… of course the female may sometimes be a little bit surprised. But as we see in this picture, if they are not from the same species, they just can kiss! That’s why the two species have never mixed (see the video to learn more about mating!)
P.S.: Is the chamois the result of a (rare!!) mating between a levogyre dahu and a dextrogyre dahu ??
It’s the Dahu!!
So, have you seen that? The Dahu has two legs shorter than the other ones!! It’s due to its environment: it has adapted to the moutain!! That’s why you’ll never see it outside the Alps…
